I was stopped behind this truck at a red light, going north on Rt 1 in the HarCo. Yes, Virginia, those mud flaps, brake light covers, and license plate frame are camouflage. This helps the truck sneak up on deer and bad guys.
This is not that unusual in the real South, i.e., not those states that are only considered "Southern" because they're below the Mason-Dixon line. Down here, camo is a fashion statement and a means of decorating one's house and truck.
